Under the current management (since 2016) we have worked hard to reduce the prevalence of undesirable invasive species on the estates. In particular, in tandem with the Scottish Invasive Species Initiative, we have worked to eliminate Japanese Knotweed and Himalayan Balsam from around the Quharity Burn and South Esk. We are grateful for the assistance of some of our tenant farmers in this effort.
